Sarah Callin is originally from the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia and brings a deep appreciation for nature, connection, and the outdoors into both her life and therapeutic work.

Sarah holds a Social Work Diploma from Keyano College and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary. She also completed a Graduate Diploma in Addiction and Mental Health Psychotherapy through the University of Lethbridge and is currently completing her Master of Social Work through Wilfrid Laurier University.

Sarah is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Her approach is person-centred, compassionate, and collaborative, with a focus on creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work through challenges and move toward meaningful change.

With a lifelong love of animals, nature, and the outdoors, Sarah also has a particular passion for equine-assisted therapy. In 2021, she completed a practicum at an equine-assisted therapy ranch in Southern Alberta, bringing together her personal and professional interests and strengthening her appreciation for the ways animals, nature, and meaningful connection can support healing.

At the heart of Sarah’s practice is a belief in the healing power of connection. She strives to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, recognize their strengths, and feel supported throughout the therapeutic process.
